Educational Qualifications
Applicants are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited university. Most universities accept BA, B.Com, B.Sc, or equivalent qualifications. Certain disciplines may demand knowledge in a related field. The minimum aggregate percentage required is normally between 40% and 50%, as per the university norms.
Program Duration
The normal duration for the MA Distance Education program is two years. The course is spread over four semesters or two annual exams, depending on the university pattern. Some universities permit students to complete the course within four or five years.
Mode of Study
Universities adopt various modes of education. The online mode involves online study materials, video classes, and online classes. The offline mode involves physical books and study materials dispatched through the postal system. The blended mode involves a combination of online and offline modes.
